Three Anoka-Hennepin School Board Seats up for Election in November | News

The Anoka-Hennepin School Board announced that three seats will be up for election this November. The seats include Districts One, Two and Five.
District One, currently held by Tom Heidemann, includes the city of Anoka and portions of Andover and Ramsey.
District Two is held by Marci Anderson and includes Blaine and portions of Coon Rapids.
District Five is held by Scott Wenzel and includes the portions of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, and Fridley that are within district boundaries.
Candidates can file for election Aug. 2-16. To qualify, candidates must be 21-years-old or older, a resident of the election district for 30 days, and not running for any other office position. Members serve 4-year terms on the board.
Affidavits must be filed in the Anoka County Elections Office, 325 East Main Street, Room W130 in Anoka. For information call 763-506-1269.
