Don't agree with your property's assessed value?

Blaine residents can appeal the assessed valuation of their property

Minnesota law requires all property be appraised at "estimated market value" for tax purposes.

The market value represents a reasonable estimate of what property may sell for based on current market conditions and information relating to the property.

Although the local Special Board of Review (also referred to as the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization) cannot adjust property taxes or unrelated complaints, it can address problems concerning estimated market value or property classifications, which cannot be resolved by the County Assessor's Office.
